TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR SALES CAREER
What would it mean to you to have no boss telling you what to do?
To work the hours that suited you, but to earn MORE than you do now?
Being in sales can be a fantastic job. The thrill of using your people skills to get in front of a client and close a deal. The buzz when you hit your target each month. The nice jump in your bank balance every payday and having the money to buy life’s luxuries for yourself and your family.
But what about the downside? The target that gets increased every time you do well (but oddly enough, not reduced if you have a bad month); being told you can’t take time off because it’s month/quarter/year end; the boss who doesn’t know half as much as you but thinks he/she knows best; the pressure to deliver time after time.
Taking the money out of the equation, if you were to rate your job between 1 and 5 with 1 being very unhappy and 5 being completely happy where would you be? Unless you can honestly give a mark of 4 or 5, it’s time to ask yourself if you are prepared to carry on for the rest of your career feeling this way? Will you look back in 5 years time and say ‘I should have left 6 years ago’?
Seven years ago I was right down at 1 with my sales career – really unhappy. I was working for a company I didn’t like, I had a boss who nearly drove me to tears, and I remember sitting in my car every Monday morning thinking ‘this is a waste of my life’.
If you could do a job that gave you a 4 or 5, but where you were earning more than you do now but for fewer hours, would it be worth a look? You bet it would.
Before we go any further, I want you to understand that this opportunity is not MLM, Network Marketing or Referral Marketing – I’ve tried that route in the past myself and it takes far too long to get to the big money.
Low overheads
You don’t want to have to spend thousands of pounds on capital equipment (vans, tools etc) before you can start. Nor do you want the commitment of high overheads on leases, cars and franchise fees eating into your profit every month. With the exception of some small business running costs – electricity, telephone, stationery – every other expense should be a cost of doing business. This means that if there’s a day you don’t work or you stop working for a period of time, your business costs you nothing.
Flexibility
Now in reality, despite everything you’ll hear about working the hours you want to, most businesses will require that you are able to do some work during the day. Indeed you don’t actually want something where you can only work in the evening. But ideally you need a balance where you can mostly choose what times you work, and how much time you devote to your business each day.
Almost instant profitability
You don’t want to have to wait months until you see your business returning a profit. You need an opportunity that will deliver an income either immediately or certainly within a month or two.
Repeat revenue
You want a business that will build and that means you want to provide a service that people buy month after month, year after year. What’s more, you still want your customers to pay for that service even when you are not working. Think of any type of subscription business e.g. when you pay for your satellite television service, you still pay even if you are on holiday. The satellite company are receiving repeat revenue.
Your own business, but not ‘on your own’
You do want to own your business, to be completely in control of your costs and working hours, but you don’t want to be on your own. If you have a question, a problem, a success or just need to discuss ideas, you need a community of other like minded people that will help in your business – a virtual office if you like. Think of it as having the support that a franchise might offer you, but without any ties or revenue sharing.
Mags to Riches is a work from home business that gives you all that and more. It is one of the best small business opportunities in the UK today.
Before you go any further, I want you to understand that this opportunity is not MLM, Network Marketing or Referral Marketing – I’ve tried that route in the past myself and I’m afraid it didn’t work for me.
And whilst we offer all the benefits of the support and systems of a franchise, we do not tie you in nor ask for a percentage of your sales. So what is it?
The majority of homes in the UK will receive some sort of advertising literature through their door each week. It might be a free paper, or just a take-away menu. It might be a parish magazine or a flyer for a new local business. Mags to Riches is a business based around the amalgamation of all those things: it’s a comprehensive startup program to train and support you in setting up a highly profitable local community magazine paid for by advertising.

- This is a genuine business and it will be your business – Mags to Riches will not own any part of it
- It is an ongoing business with a monthly revenue stream
- It’s almost recession proof
- It is a tried and tested program, it does work and it is profitable.
We’ve been helping people for nearly five years now and now have several hundred successful community magazines owners who continue to get support from Mags to Riches, with new publications starting every day.
